Still Organizing the Closet

I had a few hours to work on the office closet while Eleanor was being watched yesterday afternoon, but it was not enough time to finish. I thought I could continue after putting Eleanor to bed, but no. She’s teething, getting five teeth at once (four of them molars), so she has been a wee bit cranky.

Still, the closet is looking so much better already from using the organizational odds and ends that I already had. Here’s a little inspiration though to check out while I continue working… How gorgeous are these Stockholm files? Lovely.

  • As a personal organizer I believe that keeping your space organized(home and office)it makes your life easier. Who can afford to lose time looking for something you know you have it??

  • I so love that typewriter too. It will never go with the all-white interior that I’m trying to go for unfortunately.

  • I have these in white and I really, really love them. They have ones with drawers that are actually functional and they look great!

  • The Stockholm collection is lovely. I have a Semikolon fixation and use their orange file boxes to hold tons of things in my house. Here are a few in my office:

It looks amazing . . . are all those boxes still empty? I am curius as to what you did to get to the point at which you took this picture, i.e., beadboard, paint, put of the shelf brackets, and the shelves. It seems like a lot of work for one day . . . I wish I had that much energy. I love the boxes, the colors are so rich and vibrant. I wish I could find them in Teal, Pink, etc.
Looking forward to seeing more photos of the closet cleaning and remodeling project. ;-)

Hooray for progress. Poor Eleanor. I hope her teeth come through quickly and she’ll be happier. My little girl (who’s just about the same exact age) got two molars last week and is working on the rest. I hope to organize after her mood improves. :)

  • This is glorious, I have to say! I’ve been addicted to your site for a few weeks now since a co-worker of mine introduced it to me.
