My Little Trained Seal

Eleanor can sit on a ball. She is very proud of this (as are we). She can then multi-task and play some Yo Gabba Gabba tunes. Is she a genius or what?

Cool tricks, cool tricks!

This is an improved technique for her, by the way. Last week she was setting the ball down and then doing a whirl around hopefully-my-butt-will-land-on-the-ball move.

That is too cute. She’s so genuinely happy that she finally made it.

I love seeing other babies my daughter’s age. They share so many mannerisms, even laugh the same.

I love how proud she is! She looks like such a good combination of you and your husband. At first I thought, “she looks exactly like him!” Then I switched to, “or maybe just like her!”

She always looks cute in her pictures, but this video was totally different. She has the most adorable face & expressions! The cute pictures don’t do her justice. If I saw her IRL I’d be drooling. I only have little, stinky boys so the girls make my heart pitter patter.

Ross asked if I think Eleanor is cuter than Francesca. LOADED question :)I asked him “why, do you?” and he said “a little”. Spoken like a true uncle, and as a brother to a 3 year old sister :)

Then his smile quickly turned to concern when he saw the Yo Gabba Gabba guitar and said “hey, what is that doing over there?” Once I assured him Francesca still has hers he was okay – so at least he has his little sisters’ “back” where Yo Gabba Gabba is concerned!

I’d love to see it but I can’t seem to get the page to load completely. I think one of the ads is screwing it up.

My daughter is a huge Yo Gabba Gabba fan. We even bought tix to Yo Gabba Gabba Live, because we’re apparently big suckers. ;) Aurora will love it though, and that’s all that’s important, right? IT’s the day after her birthday party, too.

Adorable! She absolutely is a genius.

My son might be too. The other day he was naming colours and I haven’t started teaching them to him yet.*

But just when I start to think.. MENSA! … he tries to walk backwards through the house with his eyes closed and is surprised that he bumps into things.

    * I think his grandmother has been teaching him.
