Fun Shoe Laces

I spruced up my red Keds with these. I want to get some striped laces for Brandon’s shoes too.

  • @monica – awesome point.

I’ve been dying to get red keds! yours are super cute.

  • I have been reading you for awhile, but since I dreamed about you last night (you stopped by my house “on your lunch break” to give me tips on redoing my living room) I figured I might say “hi” and that I love your house and your style!

  • Love the laces! Have to laugh at what Coral said. Too funny. Can’t believe that you got 219 comments on painting your wood trim. I am positive the painted trim will look great. If you do ever sell the house and the new owner wants the original trim back they can always strip the paint.

  • I love red shoes. They look so very comfy…

  • Oh No!
You’ve ruined the historic integrity of your own shoes! Just think of what you’ve done to the resale value! Can’t you ever just leave well enough alone? :)

  • What fun!!!We have a line up of canvas sneakers in all different colours at our house. Love how some styles never go out. I will have to see if I can pretty ours up with some super cool laces. I wonder if I can get them in Oz?

  • I love that Keds are still around! I remember how difficult it was to make our white Keds stay white when my sister and I were little…
    Love the new laces!

You should make a trip to St. Louis to visit The Shoelace Factory in the amazing City Museum.

  • So cute! I’ve suddenly been hankering for a pair of Converse All Star low tops. I had a navy blue pair in high school that I wore until they fell apart. :)

PS: I’m a sucker for red shoes. Goes back to when my mom wouldn’t let me have a pair of red high tops in the second grade!

  • Ummm, yes to yours, no to Brandon’s. ;)
