I have a very similar basket in my living room. Purchased it at our local African World Festival that comes around yearly.
Must be great for storing toys! Although they seem a fun to play with themselves :)
I actually have some great senegalese baskets, bought in Senegal when I was being a nurse out there. I saw them being done, it’s quite a feat. Only downside? It does smell like hay. So does everything that stays in there.
