Honor Roll

I’m heading out to get my hair cut after six months since my last appointment. It has grown out all the way down to my… chin? Not even my chin. The bangs can be pulled down past my nose, but in back I’m sporting the most fabulous shaggy mullet style. I’m trying to stick with this whole ‘growing out the pixie’ thing, but blech to the in-between stage! I’m hoping I’ll dislike it less once it’s cleaned up a bit.

  • I’ve been growing a pixie out for 2 years. It’s excruciating. Agonizing. Embarrassing. 2 years of “meh” hair and i’m finally just past my chin (I did cut it a lot in between)…I hope your cut goes well!

Currently rocking the Conan O’Brien here. Next Wednesdays trim can’t come soon enough. I hope I resist the temptation to just cut it all off again.

I was going to comment on your Instastories the other day that I thought your hair looked very cute! I think you had the bangs pulled back.

I moved to NYC from Chicago recently and I am a convert to Polar sparkling water. Their coconut doesn’t taste like sunscreeen (and I really liked LaCroix’s coconut!), their vanilla is to die for – and they constantly have new seasonal flavors that are amazing. I sent my friends a screenshot of one of your IG stories a few weeks ago telling them I wanted your haircut! They all agreed it was adorable. I didn’t even realize it was an in-between and not the style you were going for. :D

ugh, so true about chicago pizza! I grew up on chicago thin crust, cut into squares. Tried deep dish as a teen and never understood what the fuss was about.

  • I’ve been loving your blog for ages (since before you had kids eek!) — thank you so much for sharing my art!
