My sister snapped that picture of us at the zoo.
“I do it!”
Pretty soon she will be doing it, all by herself. She’s really excited about being a big girl. It’s a big deal. She’ll turn three at the end of this month.
We managed to find time for a quick trip to the craft store yesterday before dinner. New pipe cleaners, new paint, some beads, a wooden birdhouse, clay, and jewelry findings. Eleanor was beside herself. (Me, too.)
She painted the birdhouse this morning. All by herself.

Such a fun age. :) She’s adorable.
It feels amazing doesn’t it, when they venture into this age? It’s my favorite.
Taylor’s phrase for everything at that age was “me do it!” So awesome to see their desire for independence blossom like that, especially in your first born, and especially for a girl :)
Her sunglasses!!! I die.
oh gosh…I remember when you first shared that you were pregnant with her! Time flies…she sure is a precious gem!
I started reading your blog right around the time Eleanor was born, and the time has gone by so quickly! She seems to have grown into such a stylish and thoughtful little girl…
Eleanor is totally rocking those sunglasses!
Adorable picture of the two of you! Pray tell, Nicole – where did you find that darling dress you’re wearing?
My littlest girl is 4 and I miss that age! Sloane has that same dress, one of my favorites…
The cord floral dress, that is…
I have your dress in purple, and Ramona (my 2 and a half yo daughter) has Eleanor’s dress. I can’t tell you how often you post pictures of Eleanor in clothes that Ramona has as well. What can I say we have stylish girls!
Amber or Nicole :-) Where can the dress Nicole has on be found? Thank you so much!
It was a ponte dress from Target. $25 or so, but several months ago.
I was so excited when I took my kids to the zoo for the first time and crossing the stepping stones with them.
