I spotted these shoes yesterday, and quick like a bunny I ran to try them on. They’re just so loud, but I can’t help but love them. Aren’t they weirdly great? I bought a pair, and today I had a little fun virtual-window-shopping for what I’d pair with them.
I’m planning to pair them with solid skirts and striped tops too, or with my striped dresses. Basically, I still can’t get enough of the stripes and florals combo.
p.s. The shoes are available as flats, too.

Those shoes are amazing! I had a pair of ‘crazy’ floral flats – ok, they might have actually had a Hawaiian pattern of sorts on them – back in high school. This was the 80s so aka, the olden times. I looooved them and was so sad when they wore out! I think I might need to check out the Loft ones… :)

That’s good to know. I realized today that I hadn’t put one up in a while! They’re fun to put together, but they do take a little while to make. I’m glad to hear that they’re appreciated.
I agree! I know this is a blog about home design, but I LOVE the fashion posts. You take awesome trends and break them down in a way that’s easy to replicate and pull off.
When something really smiles at you, that’s the time to buy it. Plus, you need content for your blog. If you wait and waffle about it, it’s usually gone. Ann
That is the easiest way to justify something. Oh, you know, I need content for the blog… Guess I just HAVE to buy these awesome crazy shoes that I want. Twist my arm.
And my grandma always used to say “if you want something and you can afford it, buy it. If you wait, it will be gone.” Grandma and the blog are total enablers.

I have my sequin dress hanging in my closet! It’s not the one I linked to in my earlier post. I did order that one, and it was nice, but then I saw the one I have now in a store window. I tried it on, and it was perfect. Super fun, with a chevron pattern. Two weeks ’till its debut!

i ADORE this. one thing missing from my wardrobe is baby pink. I usually like punchier colors. but this is a really great combo! BTW – tried on that skirt at BR – much cuter on the model than on me!

I too, had a pair of floral pumps, very much like yours, in “the golden age” of the 80’s. (only, I was not in high school, alas) Only they were more gold colored in a heavy brocade fabric. Fabulous.
Floral shoes might look great with bright plain skirts and very little or couple of flowers on tops..if you plan to pair them.

Love those shoes! I’m a fan of pink shoes, and to me, those are almost a neutral. They have flats, too, and you could wear them with jeans and black pants. I love Loft’s shoes and will often buy the same style in different colors. They are so comfy. And I had a pair of floral Keds (or an off brand) when I was in middle school, too.
So clever to pair that striped skirt with those shoes. Most people reaction would be to go completely solid all over to off-set the crazy pattern. But I like the stripes! They’re bold AND simple enough to live in harmony with the pumps.

Those pumps would be so cute as flats! I wish I could wear pumps but it only takes me an hour before I throw them off :) At first I thought those bobbi sets were bangles. Hope you keep making more style posts!
