Instagram post 17870135843033254 This bed remains one of my all-time favorite furniture pieces. I came across an older photo of our bedroom and it doesn’t feel like the same room. We were using our low, upholstered queen-sized platform that had worked so well in our last house. I hadn’t painted the woodwork yet, but I had painted the walls gray/blue. It was fine, but wasn’t nearly as good as what we have now (that feels really good to wake up to). Plus you know I love a room with pink. 💕 #thelovelyvictorian #makingitlovely

The next was an early idea while I was figuring out the direction (I still think it’s cute, but a little TOO cute), and the last slide was the starting point. . Instagram post 17967876322328887 Speaking of wallpaper, we had extra rolls of @ralphlaurenhome left from the previous owners. The colors were perfect for the dining room, so I used some to line the back of the hutch. The shelves help hold it in place along with pushpins at the corners, so it’s easily removable should I want to switch it out. 📌 #thelovelyvictorian #makingitlovely
