The Owl and the Pussycat

I picked up a couple of new accessories for the end tables in the living room.

The Owl…
The Owl (a vintage cookie jar)…

…and the Pussycat
…and the Pussycat.

Do any of your cats spy on you? Our littlest, Michi, has to have us in view at all times. We’ll often catch her peeking around the corner at us. She likes to think she’d hiding but she does a terrible job at it.

I love the owl cookie jar! Did you paint it or did it come white?

I love love love that owl. Did you see mine that I blogged about today because I’m thinking yours is Oscar’s little bro.

The owl is wonderful! I love how the cat is spying him.

I’ve been seeing wise ol’ owls everywhere of late! This one is great. :)

I need an owl! Great find!

Cute! Funny you picked up a pussycat. It’s just like the adorable baby boy I scored with my dining table and ugly chairs. ;)

Jules, it must be the economy. Sellers these days are willing to include ANYTHING to seal the deal. ;)

Holly, I love Oscar! And Amy, it was white already (that’s probably why I was drawn to it).

My cat lives for drawers…and has trapped herself behind them. Silly kitty.

Where do you get those rad vase arrangements?

I’m blown away you can keep that bird figurine on the table where your cat is. My two cats would have that on the ground or have taken it off as their kill.

Oh wow! I LOVE that owl! What a great find!

Love the owl, but more importantly where did you get that gorgeous little pink vase? I think I need it…. no, I know I need it! Love it all Nicole. :)

They are both gorgeous! But I think I love the little kitty cat the best :)

I loooove the cat in the drawer. Good place to hide. :-) And the owl looks so sophisticated!

Does the vintage cookie jar have any cookies in it? If so, isn’t Murphy interested?

Have sent you a couple of emails enquiring about you doing some design work on my blog, but haven’t receieved a reply yet. Not sure if this is because you’re not keen (fair enough!) or because you haven’t received them. Am having terrible computer problems at the moment. Sorry to hassle you, but I just love your stuff!

Cats are so funny. I wish I could have one, but my husband is horribly allergic. I had cats growing up, and they were always finding the weirdest, most uncomfortable-looking spots to curl up in.

(I want to know your source for dried flowers, too!)

Love the photo sets! Where did you get the oatmeal color sofa? I really like it!

yeah the owl is sooo sweet looking…owls remind me of my late granny :)…soo sophisticated and they just go with ANY decor…and this one is just fantastic :) (i looove how your cat wants to KILL it though lol sooo cute! lol)

and the little billy buttons are soo adorable..ive seen them in many different little vases in your home…where did you get them..they would be a great little spring flower for my kitchen :)

Cute owl, and cute kitty cat!

Side note: I like the ad for marthastewart.com much better than the printer ad. Much more on topic with your blog. ^_^

Oooh I love the owl…cute yet sophisticated! Also where did you get that pillow with the thick stripes?

Erin, the pillow was from Anthropologie.

The little pink vase was from Target’s first Global Bazaar collection a couple of years ago.

Lindsay, the couch is Room and Board’s Jasper.

For everyone that wants the dried billy buttons, you can find them at flowermart.com!

Now I have the childhood poem stuck in my head …

“The owl and the pussycat went to sea…”
