The Wallpaper is Here!
It’s so pretty.
It looks good with the pink upholstery fabric I bought on eBay too. I’m going to put white curtains up instead of ivory, and I think the rug could stay (for now at least).
I was going to paint the ceiling the same color as the living room, but I don’t think it will look as good as I thought it would. Maybe white, grey (to match or a little darker), or pink?

That wallpaper is beautiful, and I love the fabric! I wish I had as much luck finding fabric as you do, but nothing has popped out at me so far in my searches.
It’s going to look great! I think gray to match would be pretty. No sense taking away from that gorgeous paper.
Funny, though, the birds and leaves are black and I thought it was deep navy online. Looks like you got black in your dining room after all. (Referring back to the IKEA rug).
Congratulations on your choice. The illustrations is fresh and pretty. I will come back to see the results.
Oh gosh, I’m pea green with envy. Cannot wait to see how it looks, I’m so tempted to buy that wallpaper. :)
I LOVE IT!! That wall paper is so cute. I can’t wait to see the finished product.
On a side note:: can we please swap men, my huzband would never, in my wildest dreams let me put that up in our house.
wow this is going to look stunning! i love the pink upholstery fabric! a warm pink on the ceiling will also look awesome! or getting a ceiling rose and painting that pink against a white ceiling?
I just LOVE that wallpaper!! You got that off ebay? I think I might have to invest more time into Ebay, lol.
ps. - Just to let you know I gave you an award on my blog today!

Lovely!
I wasn’t sure I liked that wallpaper (my taste runs more to geometry than birdies on the walls) but I’m digging how it looks in your space!
I’ll be the 23472834th person to say “I can’t wait to see it hung up!”
Trusting your instinct is all apart of being a designer, it is just a challenge for those that have to live with us, through all our incarnations! You did it, that paper is fabulous. I would love to see a pale ceiling - something like a pink sky at night, sailors delight and I would love to see some glorious pinky/ coral curtains in a taffeta, billowy and beautiful! Can’t wait to see it all complete.
Will you be hanging the paper yourself?
Drey, I love the pink ceiling medallion idea! Our fixture is rectangular though.
Shannon, thanks! Only the fabric came from eBay.
Fabulous- I would go with the pink ceiling. How lovely to eat dinner at your table under a warm glow!
