Food Poisoning?
I think I figured out what made me so sick. And that’s SICK, as in can’t stand up, feverish, vomiting, freezing cold while sweating under 3 blankets, mumbling incoherently, sleeping for several days, and scaring my husband I was so sick.
I was just about to fix myself a little snack, and I realized that […]
Aroma-rama? No, thanks.
Did you know that enduring several days of fever, delirium, and uncontrollable vomiting makes one both weak and snarky? It’s true. Lesson learned (and I’m starting to feel better, thank you).
Sorry Pier1, but this is for your own good.
New Packaging
In preparation for the National Stationery Show, I’ve redesigned the packaging for my pins, magnets, pocket mirrors, and bookplates.
The size I use is 2.75″ x 4.25″, but to save money I ordered them 4-up on a 5.5″ x 8.5″ postcard. I have a ream cutter, so 5 minutes of work saved me $300.

I was going to paint the ceiling the same color as the living room, but I don’t think it […]
The Owl and the Pussycat
I picked up a couple of new accessories for the end tables in the living room.
The Owl (a vintage cookie jar)…
…and the Pussycat.
The Photo Gallery
I know some of you have already noticed, but I’ve added a photo gallery to the blog. There are sets of photos for each room, showing them from start to finish (or their current state if not exactly finished).
You could also browse through photos of the apartment Brandon and I lived in before we […]
Gardening Book Recommendations?
Brandon and I have done a lot of work inside (obviously), but the outside looks terrible. I do NOT know how to garden, but I’d like to give it a try and I’m not sure where to start!
Any recommendations for good gardening books (or magazines or websites)? Should I be sticking to some […]
