Two Months Old (August’s Monthly Photo)

(I’ll be taking a photo of August sitting in the Eames rocker and wearing his pin each month until he’s two years old. I also take monthly photos of his sister, Eleanor.)

I agree with the others. The change from month one to two is always the most remarkable! I LOVE it!! Thanks for your inspiration. I’ve done something similar with my daughter – we’re almost to month seven!!

Hehe, August always seems to have the cutest, grumpy old man expressions about him. He’s quite the character, it seems. I look forward to following along and watching his personality develop!

Oh wow I am ever so impressed with how much he’s grown!

    He looks so adorable!

I was wondering, do you use only natural light to shoot these pictures or you prepare special lighting we can’t see to help?
I find the idea of taking a pic every month so brilliant. Did you make him a different pin to Eleanor’s?

    Huge fan,

    Joy x

I love that you do this! I wish I would have thought to do this with my little guy… who is not so little anymore {3}. I did get the idea from you to do my own little yearly photo shoot, it was my first year of remission after going through chemo. I just passed my year mark and posted the collage on my blog. Amazing the difference a year can make!

I just wanted to say that August is the most precious little guy in the world! And I also wanted to thank you for inspiring me to do this with my son Clive. It is possibly my favorite part of each month, and watching the progression is so amazing and for that experience I owe you copious amounts of gratitude!! :-)

What a beautiful child (just like his sister). What I noticed is his intense look. I think you will have an intellect on your hands. Certainly nothing vacant about his stare! You’re an amazing Mom, BTW, creating these wonderful photos and memories for both children.
