Babies are awesome. When they’re sleepy, you can put them down, run downstairs to cut out some barbells from construction paper, grab your camera, arrange your prop above your sleeping baby, stand on a chair, and take a picture.

Oh, I am so glad I’m not the only one. Now that my little guy is 21 months I can barely get him to sit still for his monthly photo. But, when he was brand new I managed several pretty funny ones. The best was a cupid for a family Valentine’s Day card. It was a real hit!
