Love, that table! I like those chairs as well, let me know if they are comfortable or not. Off to visit Aubrey + Lindsay, thanks!

I love the article about being okay with being in photos. I too need to relax about that. After I became a mom, I became super curious about what my mom looked like when her little ones were my children’s ages. Granted, taking photos back then was not as prevalent an activity as it is now (it was film! and then you had to wait for it to be developed! for days!) but there were only a few to look at from that time in her life. Plenty of us kiddos, but just a handful of her alone or her with us. It will be nice for my kiddos to have tons of photos to review when they are older. We do have lots….it’s just that I need to get over myself a little about needing to look great in all of them, because that just isn’t going to happen.

I loved that article, too. I hate having my picture taken, but this reminded me that it’s not about me. Thank you for sharing it!

I never know how to wear makeup with my glasses – thanks for sharing the link. And we just painted our floors white (you can see it here: http://aforeverhouse.blogspot.com/2012/09/white-floors-before-and-after-post.html?m=1 ). I love them now but may regret it once the dirty footprints take their toll!

Not related to this post but I saw that you have the Mojo table from Land of Nod. We’re looking at buying it – the thing that’s holding me back is that I can’t tell how comfortable it will be to use at the higher height with chairs. That is, I worry that the kids legs will run into the shelf before they’re able to get close enough to the top surface. I’d love your thoughts or if you have any experience with that.

    Thanks!

That kitchen is to die for! OMG! ADEL cabinets from IKEA are my favorite. I hope to buy a older home in the next few months and a kitchen remodel is at the top of my list. They are so fun!

Have you seen Michelle Phan’s makeup for glasses videos? It’s shot from the front of her face so you can really see how she applies her makeup. She was picked up by Lancome because her YouTube videos are really popular. Here’s an older vide: http://youtu.be/91-EqPzSiRA and the newest one: http://youtu.be/8rGw80dgdMg

As a gal who loves loves loves her glasses, I’m loving those make up tips and I think I’m going to check out the ones Kat put up too!

Woohoo! We used the same ADEL kitchen cabinets in the kitchen project I work on recently. It’s on the blog. I love them so much.
