Style: February ’18

A new day, a new week! Let’s look at some pretty things to wear, yes? I had to pick up some storage bins for the linen closet last week, and I popped into a few shops while I was out. I wanted to share this tote specifically, and then I also noticed that my favorite jeans (I’m wearing them in this picture) just got better! A ‘curvy’ fit and extended sizes mean more fits for more people.

1. Piped Shirred Keyhole Blouse, LOFT
   The black piping is subtle and nicely frames the face.

2. Evie Ballet Heel in Gold Velvet, J. Crew
   Greeny-gold to match my eyes! Because matching your footwear to your irises is something one does.

3. Disk Earrings, Tory Burch
   I spotted these and thought they were cute in their simplicity, but I was sold when I realized the size. They’re statements for sure.

4. Belted Circle Skirt, Ann Taylor
   So flattering and easy to wear, and bonus: machine-washable. I only wish the rings for the belt weren’t silver but that’s a minor quibble.

5. Cream W/Poppy Stripes Bandana, Clare V.
   Several other patterns to choose from too.

6. Stella Popper Small Hobo Bag, Stella McCartney
   It comes in this cognac color too, and whoa. I have never wanted a simple tote more. The size, structure, minimal branding, and brass buttons are perfection.

7. Fiat Luxe Black Diamond Eye Ring, Gem
   Eleanor drew a picture for my sister that randomly included the phrase “Mom likes eyes!” I wondered why she would write such an odd thing but, um… she’s astute.

8. Curvy High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Lucille Wash, Madewell
   Yep. Definitely picking up a pair of these.

9. Armelle Dress, Boden
   The perfect Valentine’s Day palette, and those scallops and dots are charming.

10. Poppy Bloom Shirred Keyhole Blouse, LOFT
    Prints that could pass as vintage floral wallpaper are my favorites.

11. Goodney Plum Glasses, Warby Parker
    Brandon got new glasses last month (Ames in Whiskey Tortoise). I tried on a million frames while we were waiting and loved these for myself.

12. The Cardinal Slippers, Birdies
    Brandon got me a pair of bunny slippers for Christmas “from my Sim” (which is both adorable and ridiculous in the best way), and I love them. But holy cats, these are some chic slippers.
