We needed flowers for Eleanor’s photoshoot, so she and I took a walk to the local florist.
If there’s an upside to Chicago’s six months of cold temperatures and dead-looking landscapes, it’s that when spring’s warmth and lush greenery arrive, we really appreciate it.

May 3, 2012 at 2:56 amI think you’re in Oak Park… I read a book about it recently and thought of you! It’s the fictionalized tale of Frank Lloyd Wright and his partner Mamah Borthwick, called Loving Frank. Can’t remember the author, but if you haven’t read it, check it out – it talks about a lot about the homes in the neighborhood, their design and first owners. It sounds like such a beautiful place to live.

May 3, 2012 at 8:06 amWhat a beautiful area you live in! I do love Eleanor’s baby and stroller! My 3 year old and I go on lots of walks with our baby and stroller too. I’m just over in Iowa and I agree, we have had an easy winter, but nonetheless the spring trees and flowers blooming is fantastic!
