Home stretch! It doesn’t feel like it’s almost time, but I’m 38 weeks along already.
We’re expecting a boy, and every stranger that has put forth a guess has guessed correctly. “It’s like a basketball!” they say. “All belly!”

Yes, indeed that’s a boy belly :) I had a girl first, and then 3 boys and the last 3 times it’s like there is a neon flashing sign shouting ‘I’m male!’ Best wishes for a healthy and safe delivery.

We had our first, a little boy named Otis only 2 months ago. You’d think we named him Satan by the reactions we got. Anyway, I’ve always been intrigued as we too have a cat named Mabel.

I loved wearing stripes while pregnant – I remember when my yoga teacher said you could tell I had dropped because the stripes went in a different direction! It’s funny about the belly – I have two girls and carried “basketball style” both times. If I ever have a third, I’m curious if I’d carry a boy differently.
