Seventeen Months Old (August’s Monthly Photo)

Seventeen Months Old (August's Monthly Photo)

Hello, baby’s first haircut. And sleepytime bedhead.

I’ll be taking a photo of August sitting in the Eames rocker and wearing his pin each month until he’s two years old. I also took monthly photos of his older sister, Eleanor, until she turned two.

p.s. Eleanor usually likes to hop in on the monthly photo sessions too. Check out her art direction.

This photo needs something. Maybe a pink poodle, and a Gabba boombox? Yes.

I’ve got to admit, it does add a certain something.

  • Woah. He’s such a wee *boy* now! Not a baby. Wonderful stuff

    Awww …. gorgeous kids!

Super-cool idea with the marvelous rocker-chair! Brilliant Nicole! As the years go by …. August & Eleanor will absolutely love all the amazing photographs.

Pink Poodle is from the 50’s right? We have something similiar …. not as large. A medium size kitty-cat in white with gray. Sweet thing! Besides being sold in toy stores ….. they may have been given away as carnival prizes in late 40’s, etc. Collector’s items now.

  • He’s getting so big! That face he’s making made me laugh, so different from his sister.

  • Just putting it out there – but I think you NEED a real pink poodle!

  • Its so fascinating to see how he has changed and grown – so grown up now, esp with that haircut!

  • I can’t believe how much August seems to have ‘grown up’ since his twelve month photo. Amazing.
And Eleanor quite obviously has the stylish gene……

I love this idea. It’s something you’ll have but so will they… awesome. You’re kids are so cute – and you can *really* tell they’re siblings!
