You look fantastic! And it definitely looks like the baby has dropped a good bit since the last picture you posted. Is the nursery ready to go?

  2. Kim April 21, 2009 at 2:33 pm #

Ok, you look AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!
I’m new to your blog and so happy that I found you. I’ve loved looking back in the archives.
And now to tune in to see your baby? well, that’s just icing……lovely, lovely icing.

  6. Kim April 21, 2009 at 2:41 pm #

    You do look great.

And by the way, I’m sure you know that first babies are often late. Mine was 10 days late. But when she was ready, she was ready, and the labor was quick and easy. I hope it’s the same with you!

  7. Sara Carrington April 21, 2009 at 2:43 pm #

What a cute picture! Love it.

Both my girls were two weeks overdue — and not to scare you, but they popped out as 10-pounders. We joked that they spent those last two weeks, laid up in style, just getting fat and sassy. :) Looking forward to “meeting” the little miss.

  12. Tanna April 21, 2009 at 2:50 pm #

  15. Briana April 21, 2009 at 2:57 pm #

The same thing happened to me. There’s nothing stranger than watching your due date come and go after you’ve been anxiously awaiting it for so many many months….
Savor these last few days! Your life is about cross a threshold!

  16. Marie April 21, 2009 at 3:00 pm #

My little guy was a week overdue — I so understand how you feel — I hope you have a terrific birth!

  17. Rebecca April 21, 2009 at 3:01 pm #

Ten Months Pregnant! Been there, done that! Bit the head off everyone who nagged me about it–like I was staying PG on purpose. Oh yeah, I tried walking, salads, and sex and while they all had their merits, my little one came when she damn-well felt like it. And what a Beau-Ti-Ful little (big) thing she was, and still is! Enjoy what little time you have left with your big round tummy–seriously!

  19. Kara April 21, 2009 at 3:08 pm #

Wow that’s a long time to wait!!
I was two weeks late and I was my mom’s first child.
I keep checking your blog every day to see if today is the day, haha.

    I hope everything goes wonderfully!

  20. Camilla April 21, 2009 at 3:08 pm #

Ditto on the hair, you look great.

Btw, I saw that you won the Glam network living category award, so congrats!

  21. BP April 21, 2009 at 3:11 pm #

I love your hair–so shiny! And your outfit is amazingly cute. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and your little girl. Your blog has been a big inspiration to me on how to craft a stylish and young look in a first home. Thanks!

  22. Karen April 21, 2009 at 3:15 pm #

I’ve been where you’ve been – twice! Both my toddler son (19 months old) and infant daughter (just 5 weeks old) were born at exactly 41 weeks. Hang in there and good luck with the delivery!

  23. wide open spaces April 21, 2009 at 3:19 pm #

oh, sweetheart. do I know how you are feeling. My youngest is three today but in an instant I am back to how I was feeling three years ago yesterday. One last night of chocolate in a bubble bath before mommy time hits?

  24. lori April 21, 2009 at 3:23 pm #

you are so patient! by 37 weeks i was ready to be done! can’t wait to meet the new little lady!

  25. Jessica April 21, 2009 at 3:24 pm #

I just knew this post was going to say she had arrived.

Well, at least you look seriously beautiful.

  26. Sarah S April 21, 2009 at 3:25 pm #

You look great! My daughter was born at almost 42 weeks, and I am due tomorrow with baby number 2. I do not anticipate having him tonight or tomorrow, so I’ll be joining you in the post-date ranks. I feel patient, too. I just wish the rest of my family did and would stop calling me multiple times a day. :) But the any-minute-ness now of the whole thing is kind of weird. It is soooooo worth it when those babies come! It won’t be long now. Best wishes for a wonderful birth experience.

  27. puck April 21, 2009 at 3:28 pm #

    Ahhh… it’ll happen.

Have them strip your membranes if you are anxious. I have that done on my 4th, and labor started the next day!

  28. marlene April 21, 2009 at 3:30 pm #

you are so close. hang in there!

  29. Michelle April 21, 2009 at 3:31 pm #

You look fab! Hope all goes well (I’m sure it will) and you’ll have that baby girl home in her fashionably cute nursery in no time :)

  30. erin April 21, 2009 at 3:32 pm #

You look gorgeous. I’m due in 3 weeks and only hope I look that beautiful then. LOVE the necklace!

  31. katie April 21, 2009 at 3:36 pm #

Aww, I feel your pain! I went 1 week late with my daugher! Hang in there! go walk some stairs. ;)

  32. Jan April 21, 2009 at 3:39 pm #

Any minute now. Where did you get that great necklace?

  33. Tiffany-Z April 21, 2009 at 3:40 pm #

You make such an adorable pregnant mommy. I hope that whenever I have kids I looks half as pretty and cute as you do!

  34. Kati Davis April 21, 2009 at 3:40 pm #

This is one of the cutest pictures ever!

  35. Heather April 21, 2009 at 3:58 pm #

Wow! You look really great…and so put together! This can be difficult to achieve even on a non-pregnant day!

  36. Chelsea April 21, 2009 at 4:13 pm #

I just couldn’t not comment to wish you support in your wait, and to let you know how excited for you this reader of your blog is!

  37. Lori Danelle April 21, 2009 at 4:16 pm #

she’s just trying to give you time to work on your porch, because as I’m sure you’ve been told, you won’t have much time nor energy once she gets here!!!

(and remember, despite how you may be feeling right now, she WILL come.)

  38. Melanie April 21, 2009 at 4:19 pm #

I agree with everyone else…you are adorable. Just wondering what your diaper bag looks like? That was a big thing when I was pregnant, I refuse to carry an ugly diaper bag. Unfortunately after the second baby my fashion sense vanished…who has the time? :)

    Good luck with the delivery!

  39. Corie April 21, 2009 at 4:23 pm #

You couldn’t look any cuter! I love your necklace!

Good luck, Nicole. Any day now! I’m so excited for you guys!

  40. Lindsay April 21, 2009 at 4:33 pm #

Um, yes. I need to echo the choruses of people saying how fantastic you look. Huzzah! The sweater and accessories? Love. You look great!

  41. Heidi Fazio April 21, 2009 at 4:36 pm #

  42. jbhat April 21, 2009 at 4:55 pm #

Oh, what a fantastic picture! You look beautiful.
My sister and I were a MONTH late. We run late to this day.

Not that your girl will do that to you. Here’s to a speedy “outcome!”

  43. betosgirl April 21, 2009 at 4:56 pm #

HUGELY pregnant, I was checking out @ the grocery store & the bag boy asked when I was due. “Friday”, I answered. He made an encouraging comment about Friday being right around to which I responded “No, LAST FRIDAY, I think I’m in labor right now!”. You should have seen his face… priceless! He hustled me outta there as fast as lightning and 12 hours later I was laying in bed nursing a baby…. (and i gotta say it too, that photo is beyond adorable!)

  44. betosgirl April 21, 2009 at 4:57 pm #

i meant he said “friday is right around the corner” duh

  45. Keri April 21, 2009 at 5:04 pm #

Don’t worry- she’ll be here before you know it! You look so great, too! Are you resting or trying to frantically nest:-). I did way too much of the latter in the days leading up to my little one’s birth!

  46. amy purple April 21, 2009 at 5:06 pm #

    I love this photo!

  47. bink April 21, 2009 at 5:17 pm #

You look so darn cute! Try to sneak some extra sleep time in before she does arrive…you will need it. Can’t wait for her to make her debut on your blog.

Wishing you a smooth and safe delivery!

  48. Aprill April 21, 2009 at 5:29 pm #

Gorgeous pic. Not long now. Best wishes!

  49. bebojo April 21, 2009 at 5:30 pm #

I am a huge fan of your blog and wish you and your cute hubby a speedy, healthy delivery. I was a week past due with my first which was welcomed as we were renovating our new (very old) house – I went into labour whilst painting the stairs (gas mask and all) not really recommended. Take good care of yourself now and rest as much as you can – soon you will have a beautiful babe that will demand every inch of you!

    Enyoy this precious time.
    All my best,
    Stacey

Is that “we’re just waiting patiently” a polite way of telling us all to do the same?!

    :)

I’m a little late to the party, but you look so beautiful in this picture.

[...] I know I’m getting big, but when I see myself in photos (or catch my reflection in passing) I realize how absolutely huge I am! I’m 37 weeks pregnant now, and I’m just hoping I don’t go to 42 weeks like I did with Eleanor. I remember how uncomfortable I felt as the due date came and went. [...]
