I’ll be taking a photo of August sitting in the Eames rocker and wearing his pin each month until he’s two years old. I also took monthly photos of his older sister, Eleanor, until she turned two.

This is such a lovely idea! I’m going to have to mentally shelve this for when I (or, really, anyone close to me) have a child! So adorable!!

What a great idea! I love how all of the pictures are in the same chair. It’s so easy to see how much he’s growing. I’m sorry I didn’t think to record Little Bug’s growth this way. But I guess it’s never too late. I even have a chair in mind.

Oh my gosh! I was just going through bookmarks and found your blog (again) after not visiting for a super long time. Mommy hood does that to a person though right? Anyway, I still remember when you didn’t blog for awhile after giving birth and the monthly photos that you took of your daughter afterwards! I remember being worried like, “I know she is due. Where is she? I miss my daily posts” lol. And now you have a son? Wow. Congrats of the new addition and I will be following you on Twitter so I never forget about this awesome blog again.
