Brandon had the brilliant idea of turning our loft/landing on the second floor into a library. We added wall-to-wall bookshelves and filled them to the brim, and now we have a cozy library for ourselves.
These Are THE Curtains
They look better than my mockup (as I had a feeling they would). I haven’t been this pleased with a purchase in a long time! It took two and a half years, but I finally have curtains for the library that I love.
Windermere Curtains in the Library
Yep, still looking for the perfect curtains in there. I’ve ordered Anthropologie’s Windermere curtains (on sale), and I have high hopes for them. I did a little mockup and everything.
Are These Curtains Better?

The New Light in the Library
We finally got our hands on the Chase Ceiling Mount I had wanted for the library, and we’ve already installed it! Brandon did most of the work while I held Eleanor and read the instructions to him. It’s so much better than the light that was there before. It’s understated, but it’s a perfect compliment to the room.
