I haven’t shown Brandon’s office yet! Let’s remedy that, shall we?
It’s a pretty straight-forward room, which is why I hadn’t written about it yet. There was no remodeling, no new floor, no daunting work of any kind! We painted and put furniture in, the end. ;)
The wall opposite the desk has three more IKEA Billy bookshelves with doors. Brandon loves movies, so we have about a million DVDs. The bookshelves barely contain them all.
Ho! What’s that in the bottom right corner, you ask? Why, it’s Brandon’s 2′ tall AT-AT of course!

August 21, 2007 at 7:14 amWAIT! WHOA! How in the holy terror did you get a man to have a clean office? I do not even go into my fiance’s office. His office is where cardboard boxes, tron figurines, gorillaz figurines, dvd boxed sets, coffee mugs and ENORMOUS tufts of our cat’s hair go to reside.

August 21, 2007 at 8:09 amWhat a nice comfortable office! I can see he really loves the way you decorate (why wouldn’t he?) because your influence is here! I love the rug, wall color and am happy to see some of your white vases!
Can you tell me the source of the cute painting? What is it? A cocoon? I think your recent painting would look cute over his desk (unless of course you’d like to sell it to me.)

August 21, 2007 at 8:35 amYour “putting stuff” in a room is like a decorating coux for the rest of us! It looks great. And also, I like the symbolism of your office being pink and brandon’s being brown..pink loves brown.. was that conscious?

August 21, 2007 at 2:01 pmAriana, thank you for pointing that out! I did the pink and brown thing completely on accident!
Peggy, the painting is of Hedonism Bot from Futurama. Brandon’s friend painted it at an art event that we went to. I put the painting that I did in the entryway (you liked it?).
iloveupstate, notice how I only talk about the other side of the room? There’s so much stuff over there, all piled up on top of the bookshelves.

August 21, 2007 at 2:20 pmI’m so impressed. I would love to get my hands on my husbands den… but he doesnt trust me. I have no idea why… it couldnt have anything to do with the fact that he’s slept beneath a pink striped quilt for the past six years.

i have an office chair just like that!! i hate it but it is comfy… and IMPOSSIBLE to recover! while i’d love one of the chairs you posted above, i like things upholstered!
