See, this is sort of what I imagine I should do to my chairs outside.

Wouldn’t these look nice in a bright bold pink?
Maybe next summer…

November 10, 2008 at 4:52 pmThe pink would look great, though another option would be a muted or mustard yellow to set of the green in the plants and the pink/purple in the flowers. Either way, a bright color would look great there.

November 10, 2008 at 4:55 pmOh YES!!!! I’m starting to decorate my backyard, and bright pink is also what I’d like to have out there. I adore those chairs.

November 10, 2008 at 5:53 pmTake those bad boys down to the basement. Slap some some blue painters tape on them and go get some spray paint! Brandon will do the actual spraying of course! You’re pregnant. Then you can look at them all winter long. It’ll help pass the long winter!

November 10, 2008 at 7:35 pmOh, I saw those chairs in a mag yesterday. They totally rock my world! Do it! I love the pink, but the suggestion of a mustard type colour is pretty awesome too!

November 10, 2008 at 8:59 pmHi (from Australia!), I love having a look at your lovely blog and new stationary. This is really off your post’s topic but when I was looking through your apartment photos I noticed your beautiful kittens lying comfortably on your lounge chairs…to get the point, I also noticed you are pregnant! Congratulations!
I am also pregnant and I love my cat Lucy to bits, she is our baby in the house. But I am kind of worried about having a cat and a baby in the SAME HOME.
I just wanted to know how you are going to deal with that situation as I really don’t want to get rid of my precious kitty, but I am still anxious about it. Do you know of any good websites or have any plans of what you will do personally?
I would love to hear back from you if you have the time!
Take care and happy creating!!

November 10, 2008 at 11:28 pmFiona, the pillow was from Pottery Barn.
Anna, we’re not worried about our cats. Obviously if we notice a problem, we’ll deal with it then, but I think they’ll probably stay away from the baby (they’re a bit skittish).

November 10, 2008 at 11:31 pmThat’s a good way of looking at it! I tend to worry about everything! I should take a leaf out of your book and relax about it. Thanks for getting back to me. X all the best for the future.

November 11, 2008 at 1:17 amOhh yes, that would be quite adorable! I wish my husband would let me get away with more pink!

November 11, 2008 at 7:10 amThanks, Nicole. As for the cat issue, I have a mean, bite-prone cat who has been an angel with my baby (although she does flee now that she faces a shrieking toddler), so I wouldn’t worry.

November 11, 2008 at 8:09 amThe pink would be fabulous! Get out the spray paint!
