Eleanor’s a very snuggly baby. It’s really sweet, but I’ve not accomplished much lately other than perfecting the art of being a human pillow and milk supplier.
Hopefully soon we’ll find our rhythm. In the meantime, I’ve been enjoying this time with her.
I’ve been checking in here too… I’ve read each and every comment on my last post announcing Eleanor. It’s amazing to hear from so many people all over the world! Thank you.

May 11, 2009 at 11:12 pmOH my goodness…this will be the 256th time you’ll hear this, but enjoy it, remember it, let it sink in. It absolutely flies by. They get more and more fun as they get older, but you will always, always, always miss those times.

May 12, 2009 at 9:46 amI loved that picture. My little one was born when I was 38 and it took me a while too to leave my daily schedule behind, work and all those daily’s to-dos. And I swear, Bianca is almost 5 now and I already miss it … Enjoy! She is soooooooooooo cute!

May 12, 2009 at 12:46 pmWe’ll vote for your porch. You just take care of your little one. You’ll have time for your blog in a few weeks. It took me about 6 weeks to get used to having my little girl and regaining enough energy to focus on other things.

May 14, 2009 at 9:58 pmI know it is so hard to slow down, but just stop and smell the baby…you will never regret it! I had a really hard time with that with my first baby, but they just grow so fast. It may sound cliche, but savor every moment you possibly can. Congratulations on your new little sweetie!
