While everyone (myself included) was busy coveting your new clothes, I just wanted to know one thing… How can I get my hands on that owl purse? Well it turns out that the stores have them, though not in large quantities. I bought one of the three that the Chicago store had received, and now it is mine. All mine. An extravagant yet dearly appreciated early birthday present courtesy of Brandon. I’m a lucky gal.

September 4, 2009 at 8:09 amThere’s something kind of awesomely Eccentric Old Lady about that purse. Sort of like Mary Poppins’s carpet bag … you expect something unexpected and magical to be held in it.
*opens* oooh, a nest of robins with pretty blue eggs! *closes*

September 4, 2009 at 11:47 pmThat owl purse is BRILLIANT! Love it.
The only name-brand purse I own is a beautiful leather cross-body by Tignanello. Their site isn’t very expansive, but they have a huge and beautiful selection of leather purses and satchels and cross-bodies and everything you could imagine. It’s soft, and smells of leather–LOVE that smell–and have all sorts of beautiful colors, and beautiful insides. Oh man…
But still, that owl purse is so phenomenal…

September 5, 2009 at 12:15 pmYou do know that the owl purse has room for a bow and arrow. Do you have a bow? Enjoy! With the right purse, you can’t go wrong.

The Things We Love | Making it Lovely
September 25, 2015 at 7:48 pm[…] I talk a lot about how to incorporate special things over time — it’s the idea behind my whole Making it Yours series. It applies to the furniture in our homes, to the clothes in our closets, to all of those interesting items we gather over time. One of my favorite things that I’ve had for years now is my owl purse.
