March 5, 2010 at 11:57 amGreat source list. I have always been curious about your rugs as well. I always find it very fascinating that people invest quite a bit of money in rugs, but rugs are so tricky because if you make the wrong decision, they can be quite expensive to try and resale. You obviously invested in the right ones as it seems you continue to love them.

March 5, 2010 at 2:06 pmI love this post!! Your home is so beautiful and thank you for all the rug tips! Was wondering if there’s a place on your blog here that you list the paint colors you used in these rooms? And is that a Jonathan Adler ceiling light I spot in your Studio??? Love it :)

March 5, 2010 at 3:45 pmWhile your sourcing things… how about your picture hanging apparatus? I have been looking for something like that for our shop… the walls here are 14″ limestone so we must use the picture rail.

March 6, 2010 at 7:50 pmI love seeing how people use rugs in their homes. I have hardwood floors and love that look but rugs are necessary in some areas, oh and I love the shade on the door and window!! Where did those come from?

March 8, 2010 at 10:45 amI always wonder how the zigzag rug stays so nice and clean, especially because that seems like a high-traffic room. Any tips for us? :)

March 8, 2010 at 8:01 pmWell, after seeing your new pink zig zig rug when you first bought it and absolutely falling in love with it (after years of casually looking for the perfect rug for my living room) – I bought the exact same rug! And I LOVE it! It’s helped me to completely transform the main floor of my house, and I couldn’t be happier – thank you!!!

March 10, 2010 at 5:48 amGreat rug!!
But yes – what’s the artwork on the wall in the lounge? It’s really bugging me – is it from an Air album?

March 13, 2010 at 8:29 pmI was thinking about that Dash&Albert rug for my little one’s nursery but the husband said it was too feminine. I’m still on the fence. Looks absolutely great in your space, though, as do all the other rugs. Great job!
