And it’s up, but I still have to play around with the strings and attach them to the ceiling.
FYI, the Edison is HUGE. Especially the bulbs.
I wanted to take a picture of Eleanor having a bright idea, but she has not been in a particularly cooperative mood today. You can use your imagination though. It would have been cute.
This light was purchased with Membership Rewards points courtesy of American Express. I am working with them to redo my bedroom.

June 7, 2010 at 3:17 pmWow! That is perhaps a little too large. Can you change the bulbs out? Or would that throw off the proportions?

June 7, 2010 at 3:22 pmWill you use a dimmer??? I think it would be awesome with mood lighting, it is a bedroom after all:)

June 7, 2010 at 3:35 pmDo you screw the things that hold the strings to the ceiling? I’m curious how you know where you want them until you see them all up together. Is there a way to put them up temporarily to see what looks right?
I think the fixture is really cool. Hopefully it works out..

June 7, 2010 at 3:37 pmHoly Moly. How much are replacement bulbs??

June 7, 2010 at 4:28 pmHave to ask about the linens… are they super soft? I’m in love with my Macy’s Style & Co 300 thread counts at a GREAT price… softest sheets I’ve ever owned… but have had my eye on those West Elm striped ones and some gray/yellow floral ones they have. Trying to punch up my yellow and gray color scheme that’s going on in the bedroom!

June 7, 2010 at 8:19 pmThose bulbs are huge! Do you have to special order replacement ones?
Oonafey
June 7, 2010 at 8:25 pmYikes, it IS big! Does it mention anywhere how often the bulbs need to be replaced? Or how “eco-friendly”/electricity-sucking they are? Really can’t wait to see it up, though… If anyone can make it look good in the bedroom, you can!
