I love white skirts like this one. That waist needs to be shown off, so I’d tuck in this green halter top (the straps are wide enough to wear a normal bra underneath, yay). The Seychelles sandals look so cute, and the Cubist bag is just awesome. I like that it doesn’t match exactly, but it still works. I could see it working with a ton of outfits that way. I’m pretty into those studs, and isn’t the ring cool too? It’s made of electrical wire.

June 16, 2010 at 2:59 pmNicole,
Just a heads up… I tried that skirt, but found it to be too sheer for comfort.
Thanks! Have a good one,
Morgan

June 16, 2010 at 3:19 pmBummer! The reviews were pretty mixed online, but I haven’t been able to check it out in person yet. I’m not afraid to throw on a slip though – I’m kind of old-fashioned that way.

June 16, 2010 at 3:00 pmLove the sandals, the subtle shimmer’s pretty. It would be so perfect for Greece too where I’m dying to go but haven’t yet got tickets for!

June 16, 2010 at 3:14 pmI love love love your website. I’ve been reading it for a little over a year and I think my favorite thing you do are the style boards. I’ve put myself on a spending ban so it’s fun to look at your site and see new ways I can wear some of the stuff I already have. Thanks for the fun inspiration. You are super talented in so many ways!

June 16, 2010 at 3:18 pmThanks! I’m always trying to figure out how to wear what I already have in new ways too. I did buy that halter top (super flattering), but the rest will be recreated with items from my closet. ;)

June 16, 2010 at 3:41 pmI just bought the shirt online! Thank you for the recommendation! I have (very) pale skin and red hair and think the green will be a good choice.
Here’s a tip for anyone else interested if you buy today: $25 off a purchase of $50 or more (before tax) when you use the code 23029867 where it says “Click Here to Redeem Virtual Dollars.” (See other promo codes at http://www.retailmenot.com/view/thelimited.com.) Hope that helps!

June 16, 2010 at 3:48 pmI am LOVING that green halter and the bag. I love the price tag of both even more. Thanks so much for listing items with an affordable price tag. They are hard to come by these days. What great finds.

June 16, 2010 at 5:57 pmI love the green and white combo – so crisp!!
I like that the bag doesn’t exactly match “it goooes” as I always say… or was that Stacy and Clinton?

June 16, 2010 at 7:10 pmHi there! I love this style board, I REALLY love the bag! I was wondering how you felt about faux-leather bags though? I feel like I’m not sure I want to invest in something that may not be as sturdy as real leather?

June 17, 2010 at 11:49 amI just got the sandles from Anthro, though in a different color and wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking of buying them. They are more for narrow feet and I’d consider ordering a size up as they are pretty tight too.

June 17, 2010 at 8:19 pmYou are a brave woman to do a white skirt with a toddler- I found the cutest dress the other day but could not do the white thing because it would never stay white long enough to get out of the house!
Lisa
June 17, 2010 at 9:14 pmI’m not a rep – but I recently bought these earrings from Lia Sophia and they are wonderful with many things. Similar to the ones you chose (tho black) and a little cheaper. http://tinyurl.com/2a5wda8

June 18, 2010 at 2:30 pmHi Nicole,
Love your site! For next month’s mood board, please consider sourcing all Made in the USA products — there are so many chic fashion and home goods out there made here in the US! And it would be perfect for the 4th of July. (Most etsy crafters are US artisans, that’s a great start right there.) I’d be happy to offer ideas …

June 19, 2010 at 2:00 pmYikes, that bag looks like something my parents brought me home from Mexico in the 80’s. To each her own! But Ruche is a GREAT find…
