I spruced up my red Keds with these. I want to get some striped laces for Brandon’s shoes too.

September 2, 2010 at 2:21 pmSo cute! I’ve suddenly been hankering for a pair of Converse All Star low tops. I had a navy blue pair in high school that I wore until they fell apart. :)
PS: I’m a sucker for red shoes. Goes back to when my mom wouldn’t let me have a pair of red high tops in the second grade!

September 2, 2010 at 4:56 pmI love that Keds are still around! I remember how difficult it was to make our white Keds stay white when my sister and I were little…
Love the new laces!

September 2, 2010 at 5:02 pmWhat fun!!!We have a line up of canvas sneakers in all different colours at our house. Love how some styles never go out. I will have to see if I can pretty ours up with some super cool laces. I wonder if I can get them in Oz?

September 2, 2010 at 5:14 pmOh No!
You’ve ruined the historic integrity of your own shoes! Just think of what you’ve done to the resale value! Can’t you ever just leave well enough alone? :)

September 3, 2010 at 2:54 amLove the laces! Have to laugh at what Coral said. Too funny. Can’t believe that you got 219 comments on painting your wood trim. I am positive the painted trim will look great. If you do ever sell the house and the new owner wants the original trim back they can always strip the paint.

September 3, 2010 at 10:37 amI have been reading you for awhile, but since I dreamed about you last night (you stopped by my house “on your lunch break” to give me tips on redoing my living room) I figured I might say “hi” and that I love your house and your style!
