This was a short work week — one that I spent mostly with family and friends. I don’t have many links for you from around the web, but as always, there were a few fun things I’d noticed, and they are below. I also have a giveaway and lots of Babble links to share, and then I’m off. Enjoy the weekend, everyone!
-
Dressers for dudes. “Simple and wide. Like your mom.”
-
Do you sign your emails xoxo? (I have done it, occasionally, but it’s far from a regular occurrence and is reserved for people I know and have corresponded with previously.)
-
These photographs of nude dancers are made by combining 10,000 individual photographs to show fluid motion. Amazing (and SFW).
-
Switch up the decorations you’ve already put up to make them New Year’s Eve party-ready.
-
This is the most interesting bookshelf I’ve seen in a long time. So cool.
-
Need something pretty to fill up that awesome bookshelf? Try this colorful series of books.
-
For good measure, how about one of these literary prints? (I’m especially partial to the Anne of Green Gables quote.)
This week, enter to win a $75 credit to Wallpaper for Windows. Good luck!

December 28, 2012 at 9:13 pmHa, that article about xo made me feel old and crotchety. I sign off with “kisses” to my family, but I would never use xo in general. And I hate seeing it in blog posts; it’s one of my pet peeves. I am so old.

December 28, 2012 at 11:39 pmI laughed so hard at “Simple and wide. Like your mom.” Perhaps the funniest thing ever written about a dresser.

December 28, 2012 at 11:50 pmI am also old…and I always end emails to friends xoB (for Becca, my nickname). I never knew it was trendy, its just what I did. OH MY GOD!! I’M OLD AND TRENDY!! I die.

December 28, 2012 at 11:54 pmand can I just say that this sentence ” Like Victoria Beckham is in need of a sandwich, I am in desperate need of a dresser.” makes me want to kiss something.
