Making it Lovely is now six years old. (Wow!) To celebrate, I’m turning a little introspective. I’ve put together a condensed timeline with all that has happened and been documented on Making it Lovely over the last six years. There will be a post about what I’ve learned, and I’ll also be sharing a post about how my blog went from a part-time hobby to a full-time job that supports my family of four.
Today though, I have a favor to ask of you. My last reader survey was in 2010, and I’m sure much has changed since then. I would like to know what you love, or don’t love, about Making it Lovely, and I’d appreciate your honest feedback. Would you please take my 2013 reader survey? I’ll share a summary of the results next week, for the curious.

I just completed your survey and felt compelled to butt in to let you know that within the settings of your Survey Monkey account (or maybe it’s just within the particular settings for this survey) you can edit the link that the site jumps to once someone has completed the survey. So, instead of seeing Survey Monkey’s site at the end, participants could see yours. For what it’s worth! I used to design Survey Monkeys back in my pre-kids working days.

January 15, 2013 at 8:19 amhi! i tried filling out the survey but the first question asked if i read at home or at work, or other. i filled in an answer for other, and surveymonkey would not let me progress with the survey beyond the first page because it didn’t register my answer as valid.
