I spent a lot of time looking through the galleries of the 4th Trimester Bodies project. Beautiful, beautiful.

Posthumous advice: ‘Nine times out of ten, you probably aren’t having a full-on nervous breakdown – you just need a cup of tea and a biscuit’

A great point of view on urban public schools.

Mint green, you are so pretty.

How much do you know about Victorian houses?

Copper for me, copper for you. Copper for everyone, everywhere!

Planked walls are popping up with tutorials a lot lately, but would you buy, or DIY?

I am so feeling black, white, and wood for the home.
Good thing I have miles of wood trim, eh? -
Get the look: black accents in the kitchen.

September 6, 2013 at 5:28 pmThank you for linking to the 4th trimester bodies. I love when mother’s bodies are celebrated instead of scrutinized/criticized. :)

September 7, 2013 at 12:08 amI’m intrigued by the 4th trimester project. They are coming to my town…Kansas City! Maybe I should do it and find the beauty in my mama of 3 body! Thanks for sharing. What a lovely idea!

September 7, 2013 at 12:07 pmLoved two things- 4th trimester bodies and your article about black, white and wood.
THANK YOU for saying “black, white and wood” out loud. Silly as it sounds, it helped me to finally describe my style. I would probably add “metal” too, but what an epiphany! Now I am Pinning like crazy and finally making decisions about BWWM items for my new house.
Can’t wait to see what you do with your new home.

Love the 3rd trimester project! If they were coming to the Bay Area I would TOTALLY participate.

September 9, 2013 at 10:53 amSo glad to hear about copper. My grandmother was a copper fanatic, and I inherited many of her copper pieces. Time to polish them & bring them forth again!

September 11, 2013 at 5:52 amThe fourth trimester project is amazing! I’d love it if they did something like that over here – with a big scar from lactational mastitis and some spectacular stretchmarks from two huge babies, I’d love to see a photographer’s take.
A bit of a technical query, I’m afraid – do you know how to get the RSS feed for your (and other!) Babble blogs. All the ones I used to use seem to be dead now and for the life of me I can’t seem to find contact details for Babble!
