Did you know that June 23rd is National Pink Day? It’s OK, I didn’t either. Apparently you can celebrate by doing things like…
-
going to a restaurant or shop with pink interiors
-
having your hair dyed pink
-
eating pink meals
OK. Will do? Or maybe I’ll just look at pretty pretty pink things and wish we had a pink sofa instead of a blue one. (I’ll admit it. I love ours, but I’m also wishing I could swap right now.)

June 23, 2015 at 1:41 pmI like pink and I like your affiliated links. HOWEVER, when is the last time you “transformed the so-so”? That may sound mean but I think it needs to be said. I read your blog because I like your style and I like the way you pull together a room. That rarely happens anymore despite the fact that you have several unfinished rooms in your house. Please go back to mainly decorating and I don’t mean a room that was designed in collaboration with a brand. But an honest to goodness real person designed room with items you would choose without prompting from a sponsor.

June 23, 2015 at 7:45 pmI never quite understand the negative response to Bloggers using Sponsors? I’m not a Blogger but I can calculate how much time and Brain effort it takes to create something that attracts readers, and I know from other bloggers that the costs are significant to create a blog with a professional appearance. Also why does the reader assume that you don’t use or admire the products you use for décor suggestions? If I had the talent, I would certainly use products that I liked or even loved. Why wouldn’t anyone. And lastly any product used was produced by some manufacturer-you can’t avoid that unless you build your own furniture? Puzzled?

June 24, 2015 at 8:08 amWhat a fun post! I had no idea there was a National Pink Day! This would make a great gift theme – you’ve already got some good suggestions here. (I particularly like the little tray.) I will add it to my calendar. Thank you for sharing!
