My sister and brother-in-law closed on their very first house yesterday! I’m absolutely thrilled for them, and I get to see the place in person today (in just a few hours, as of writing this)! I’m bringing our old bent-ply chairs with me for them. Brandon and I bought them circa 2002 I think, for our apartment. We used them there and in our first house, and now they’ll have a new life at my sister’s place. Nobody wants your parents’ old stuff, but perhaps younger siblings are eager for your hand-me-downs?
I’m going to take a million ‘before’ photos for them while I’m there, but this is their place, so I’m only getting as involved (or not) as they want me to be in the decorating. They’re excited, and I’m excited for them!
OK, on to the Honor Roll…

Daniel’s kitchen remodel plans! The comments are fun to read, too.

Yep, I’m going to need The Bob’s Burgers Music Album. (Those songs are the only ones my kids will sing along to when I break out the ukulele.)

Disney Bounding. It’s a thing.

Sheila Bridges’ home tour is all kinds of inspiring.

February 25, 2017 at 7:58 pmI live in Orlando, 2 miles from Disney World. So we get to see people all over in cast member costumes- not the “big” ones- but it is interesting to see at the grocery store. People dress like characters everywhere here. And in our neighborhood some people go all out in decorating their homes Disney style too.

February 27, 2017 at 11:48 amFun! I’ve never been all that big on Disney, but I love when people geek out on stuff like that. :)

March 3, 2017 at 12:33 pmI can relate to Brooklyn Limestone’s post – we rented our Chicago bungalow for filming and I definitely dealt with “Let It Go” and “It Gets Weird”!
I blogged a little bit about it: https://projectpalermo.com/2016/09/16/lets-all-watch-easy-on-netflix/

March 6, 2017 at 1:27 pmThanks for the link to Sheila Bridges’ home. I’ve loved her since way back when she was on HGTV. She is such a great designer, and I reading her thoughts on life too.
