I’ll post proper photos soon… it takes a bit of work to get the room ready to photograph and I’ve been so very tired lately.

January 21, 2009 at 2:05 pmNicole, you always outdo yourself with details! I have been an avid follower of your blog for months now and this is my first comment (shameful). I actually found you in a decorating magazine with your library makeover(lol).
P.S- Did you make those pillows yourself? If so what fabric did you use, its gorgeous!

January 21, 2009 at 2:12 pmI’ve been taking naps! I sleep 10-12 hours each night now and I STILL need to nap during the day. Sheesh. Everyone’s telling me to sleep now though, while I still can. ;)
Jazmin, the pink pillow is from Hable Construction and the other was from Thomas Paul.

January 21, 2009 at 2:35 pmHi Nicole, I somehow stumbled onto your blog a couple of weeks ago and have been hooked ever since!
You have a great eye for beautiful design :) Keep up the great work and thank you for letting us in on the process.

January 21, 2009 at 2:43 pmDefinitely take a nap. I had a son six months ago, and it always amazes me how much sleep I need. He’s sleeping through the night finally and I still need a long nap just to feel normal. Having a kid gives you a ticket to take naps until they’re out of the house. :-)

January 21, 2009 at 2:44 pmI am loving that fabric! I need some pillows like this for my front porch furniture…having a terrible time finding something just right, though. I’m off to check out the link you posted. Thanks!

January 21, 2009 at 4:29 pmI know. They’re gorgeous, but expensive. I had wanted that pillow for years and I finally bought it during their 30% off sale.

January 21, 2009 at 5:13 pmCompletely off topic, but every time I see your site on my blogroll, the name, sung to the tune of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” runs through my head. It’s quite catchy!

January 23, 2009 at 9:11 amNicole,
First I want to comment on the site makeover. I love it! Especially the hexagon tile background and the yellow flowers at top right and bottom. Great work!
Second, I love the Hable construction pillow. I have wanted one of their rectangular bags for some time now.

January 23, 2009 at 11:11 amI found your blog a few weeks ago and have loved catching up on the transformation of your home! Would you be willing to show us (you know, in all that free time between building a baby and running businesses and beautifying your home ;)) how you’ve hung the artwork in your LR from the picture rail? It’s very sleek and exactly what I’d like to do in my own new-to-me old house, so I’m curious what materials you used and how you hooked things up.

January 24, 2009 at 12:41 amI second Jess’ request… WHEN you’re up to it, of course. Frankly, all bets are off when you’re carrying another little body around – and I find you amazing, Nicole, so just keep doin what you’re doin, whenever you get to it. Blogs can be caught up on; baby-time can’t. (P.S. I plugged you over at AT in a comment about pink living rooms/walls… yours are so classy, Lady!)

just so ya know the etsy shop paulinagtz, has a wallhanging set with that thomas paul fabric… it may be a little matchy-matchy in the same room as the pillow but could look cute in the nursery!

i had 4 pillows made from her in the brown, aqua, and yellow thomas paul parasols fabric for super cheap!
