This is Eleanor’s favorite thing to do lately. I told Brandon she’s planking.
Kids are weird.
Everyone except me has been sick here. Eleanor had a high fever (104°), and Brandon stayed home from work yesterday. August has had it the worst though. We’re on day five for him and he’s miserable. He needs mama constantly, so I’m not doing much besides comforting him all day. I’ve been letting him nap on me, and sleeping in the glider with him in his room all night. We’re both not sleeping well.
* Edit *
Of course I got sick the next day.

October 26, 2011 at 5:35 pmI totally feel you. get some comfort food and hunker in. We spent 4 hours in urgent care on Monday after hubby got home from all week in Seattle last week.
Do you sometimes feel like everyone gets better first before mom? I feel like I got sick first and I get better last.

October 26, 2011 at 7:00 pmthe photos are adorable, but a house full of sick sounds like no fun at all! Hope everyone is feeling better. And how lucky are you that you didn’t get the bug?!

October 26, 2011 at 7:37 pmWeird. . . we’ve been dealing with fevers too. My 4 year old has had a bad one for a couple of days and everyone I know with a toddler has dealt with this too. I’m wondering how far this thing is spreading? We’re in upstate NY. I always think moms are the last or only ones to not get sick so we can take care of everyone else first. Super cutie Eleanor too!

October 26, 2011 at 7:53 pmNo sickness here–knock on wood. I wonder if it’s because my boys are getting older (4 and 7). I remember when the kids were younger, like Eleanor and August, it seemed like they were sick once every month. Misery.

October 27, 2011 at 6:08 amWanted to stop out from silently reading and say glad Eleanor is well enough to be planking and hope everyone else follows suit.. maybe not actually planking, but being well enough to do so if they wanted to. Not just sacked out and fevered faux planking. Seriously, it feels temporarily heart breaking when they’re so sick, even when you know they’re going to bounce back. Hope you stay healthy through the bug while taking care of everyone. Thank you for taking time to blog.

October 28, 2011 at 9:06 amHope you’re all doing better. Same at my house… my boy (age 3), my daughter (age 8 months), and the hub were all sick. I have never been so tired in my life. I lost 3 lbs though! LOL! We Mamas are strong in many ways.

November 4, 2011 at 4:12 pmI have to be “that girl” with the question about something in the photo that doesn’t pertain to the post or the sweet sick babies. Where is August’s high chair from? Love it’s lines and simplicity. Thanks,
Jamie
