Yes, yes, yes. The new table looks awesome.
I got mine for a song (15% off, plus some store credit), but a couple of people pointed out this excellent alternative yesterday. The carved pattern is a little different (though still nice), and it’s a little more affordable.
Now I really want to finish painting the trim in the living room. And if I were feeling fancy I’d stage the table with pretty decorative objects and fresh flowers, but the reality is that it will be soon have coloring books and action figures on top, no doubt.

January 4, 2012 at 12:24 pmLove all the pattern and texture you have going on in that corner- and it’s all going to pop once you paint the trim. Pretty pretty!

January 4, 2012 at 2:50 pmOoh, this looks really nice. I spotted this table a while back and thought it might be a good alternative for our leggy side tables in the formal living room. But, since everything in there is Danish Modern, Japanese, or some other mid-century mishmash I wasn’t sure adding yet another style of furniture was the best idea. I am thinking something soft, textile and possibly tufted. Love how your nook is coming along!

January 5, 2012 at 12:36 pmIt’s the perfect textural table for next to that chair. And thank you for keeping it real with the styling. I style and then 5 minutes later destroyed. Ah, I love parenthood – it is truly the best.
