Best desk ever. Those balloons are structural!

Perhaps I’ve found a taxidermy project to top all of the odd stuffed animals at my mother-in-law’s cabin?

…And you should marry a geek.

…So you can experience the beauty of familiarity.

Bring on the striped bags!

I wanted the $300 shoes, but I like the $25 pair I bought instead.

You can get this entire outfit for less than $100! And it’s super cute.

These are the alphabet magnets I have on my fridge. Stainless steel, lowercase serif font, and no primary colors or plastic. They’re letter magnets for font nerds and design snobs!

June 8, 2012 at 7:13 pmI wanted to be completely horrified by the cat copter but I decided to laugh out loud instead.
Can’t wait to share the Minecraft wedding with my 10 year old son.

June 12, 2012 at 8:36 pmI hope that “You should date an illiterate girl” is pure sarcasm. It was a repulsive read! I don’t understand where you’re coming from by placing this on your Honor Roll! I always love everything you post but this is really weird.
Making it Lovely
June 12, 2012 at 8:56 pmThe whole thing reads as a love letter to the girls who DO read, the ones who have big dreams and wild ideas. It is sarcasm.

I’m curious as to how many sets you purchased of the magnetic letters? I’m assuming the sets just come with 1 letter of the alphabet …
Making it Lovely
June 12, 2012 at 10:26 pmI have two sets (each has one of each letter).

Making it Lovely
July 5, 2012 at 12:17 pmI didn’t realize that wasn’t the original. Link, please? I’d love to read it.

July 5, 2012 at 2:39 pmHmm… after review, i’m not sure that this is “his blog” but it seems to be the first publishing of this essay. The last line of this version is different than the one that’s going around tumblr.
