I’m at my third apartment makeover in New York, sneaking in a quick post. I thought I’d have a little time at the end of each day to do some of my posts over at Babble and to put together an Honor Roll, but we’ve had crazy long days! We’re filming three spots (they’ll be online in August), and not only am I the host, I’m also painting (from colors I recommended), rearranging, and styling each room that we work on.
The production crew is amazing, as is everyone else that’s involved in this project. I’m sharing photos on Instagram and I can’t share much more with you until everything goes live, but I’m really proud of the work we’ve done.

July 13, 2012 at 10:07 amSo cool! Glad you are having fun on this adventure!
You’ve inspired me to design a dollhouse for my 5 year old daughter!
What scale is the Walton dollhouse you made?
How did you find furniture to scale?
I’m so confused on how to know if the furniture will fit in a dollhouse!

July 16, 2012 at 12:15 am1:12 is the standard scale for furniture, and that’s what the dollhouse I worked on was built at. Unless otherwise noted, most of what’s out there is in that scale.
