If it’s not on your radar for the Star Ceiling in your daughter’s room… another option may be using contact paper (thanks, Pinterest!).

I wonder if a Moravian star would look good in Eleanor’s bedroom? http://www.elcallejonart.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=17&products_id=91

I just got some gold coronata stars from Wallsneedlove.com and they are perfect!!!! I was all set to do stencils but could not possibly have been any happier with these results!!! For less than 30 bucks and about an hour of work I got the whole ceiling of my girls’ room done and it looks so sweet! Thanks for the inspiration ;-)

Because you’re becoming quite the lighting aficionado I have a question for you to ponder. Where on Earth can one find good looking but practical piano lighting that doesn’t completely break the bank? The ugliest and most utilitarian of piano lamps can run in the hundreds of dollars. I’ve avoided buying one for that reason and it’s long overdue. Thank you!

Love that you wrote about the Nest items. We installed the thermostat at our place in May and it is AMAZING.
