IKEA’s $50 RÅSKOG cart is at home in more than just the kitchen.
August’s bedside table is that cart, in gray. -
Do you play kids’ music for your kids, or do you skip it? Justin Roberts has a new album out, and several local musicians weighed in on it for their kids. Then they were called pretentious.

Moroccan wedding blankets are gorgeous and have been trending in the design world for a few years now, but they’ve recently hit the mainstream in a big way. How would you incorporate one into your home?

January 24, 2014 at 4:02 pmEvery time I go to IKEA I ALMOST buy that cart. Next time IT WILL BE MINE! That MSLO article is so fascinating. I’m so curious to see how it all pans out.

January 25, 2014 at 12:19 pmWhen our boys were young, we played cassettes (it was a long time ago) of all the greats of classical music. They were from the Metropolitical Museum. They contained bios of the composers as well as some of their pieces that readily appealed to young children. As a result, Adam and Stefan have a love of classical music as well as popular music of today.
Best,

January 25, 2014 at 12:48 pmI’ve been to the Minneapolis Ikea three times recently hoping to snag the green cart, but they are ALWAYS sold out of all colors. My fellow Minnesotans must be thinking what I’m thinking–perfect for hats and mittens in the mudroom! :)

January 25, 2014 at 4:56 pmWe are all Justin Roberts fan at my house! Loved seeing him live in Chicago years ago. My daughter (then 6) was first in line for an autograph. Great guy! So happy he is getting some Grammy love for his work!
