A look at some of the children of Instagram with followers in the tens and hundreds of thousands.

The most amazing miniature worlds, creating in antique ring boxes, and a modern dollhouse that gets all the details right.

We do have some architectural gems in Oak Park. I love that you can walk by the FLW studio, and up and down the street will be people from all over the country. From all over the world.

November 20, 2015 at 4:43 pmThose miniature scenes remind me of El Salvadoran “sorpresas”. I wonder if eventually the jewellery boxes will take on a pornographic theme too ;)

November 20, 2015 at 6:22 pmI feel sorry for those children. To have so much emphasis put on appearance seems unhealthy.
Loved the mid-Atlantic accent piece!

November 23, 2015 at 7:40 amThose children on Instagram? Yikes. It’s a little scary to think about what those kids are learning by being used for free swag and a little bit of cash. I feel sorry for the kids, too, but mostly embarrassed for the people who feed into it.

November 23, 2015 at 1:19 pmSo nice to see one of your internet findings posts again! It’s always fun to see what occupies the random moments of your internet wanderings … you open my mind to delights I would have missed.

November 23, 2015 at 7:51 pmI’m always curious about Chicago Weather versus Virginia. We are having quite a bit of rain and low temperatures at night but I have a pink azalea in full bloom from warm days so kind of surreal. So close to Christmas -don’t miss Buffalo, NY at all! 2nd off topic…I would up feeding a Cat and it is not leaving-I know what you are thinking-why would it? but I can’t let it in the house even though it sits for hours looking at the front door-due to 135 Lb. Rottweiler and 100 lb. Lab mix. We have a 7 foot fence -but a wrought iron gate so Cat is in no danger as long as it doesn’t come in. Should I turn it in to the Pound? So many cats-I think they put them down pretty quickly. Could I find some sort of cat house that would protect it in the cold? Bloggers are always so informed and helpful..hope I didn’t offend with my questions.

November 30, 2015 at 6:59 pmI wish I had a good answer for you. I would worry about the cat too, but are you sure he doesn’t have a home?
