(I’ll be taking a photo of Eleanor sitting in the Eames rocker and wearing her pin each month until she’s two years old.)

She knows how to rock in that chair now! I took a million shots of her smiling and rocking, but they were blurry. I must learn how to take better action photos.

February 28, 2010 at 2:58 pmYou have a sincerely lovely daughter.

February 28, 2010 at 3:01 pmSo cute! Has she started to stand up on her own (while gripping to the furniture)? Time is flying by so quickly with kiddos!
Making it Lovely
March 1, 2010 at 10:10 amYes! She wants to stand all the time now!

February 28, 2010 at 3:42 pmDid you use the ‘running person’ setting (if you’ve got one)? Or else set it to shutter priority and use the fastest shutter speed you can? (Though neither is particularly easy indoors). I rarely use any other setting with my daughter. (And they get blurrier as they get older…)
Making it Lovely
March 1, 2010 at 10:09 amI tried a few with the running person, but those weren’t focused well. I know in theory what I need to do (faster shutter speed, higher ISO), but I’m not good at figuring out how to put that into practice.

February 28, 2010 at 5:50 pmThese photos are beautiful! Do you always take a million and choose the one you like the best?
Did you say what you will do with all the photos after the 2 years have passed? Display them somewhere?
Making it Lovely
March 1, 2010 at 10:08 amYes, I always take at least 50 shots! I’m going to make a book out of the photos. (Not for sale I mean, just a personal book.)

March 1, 2010 at 12:57 pmMy baby is now 5! I miss those days of baby giggles, naps on my shoulder & bouncing on my knee! It’s great how you are documenting Eleanor’s little baby life. As everyone says, the days may be long but the years go by fast!

March 1, 2010 at 2:32 pmcan you pretty pretty please do a collage with the photos and crop them so it seems like the chair continues into the next picture so it looks like a series of white waves? I love these photos and wished I had done them with my first baby (and I didn’t do them with my second because then it wouldn’t have been fair- stupid thoughts, I would have loved it!)
