My Life Parenting Pregnancy

Another Baby

We’re going to have another baby!

Eleanor and Me

Also, I think our matching mother/daughter dresses are funny. ;)

This pregnancy has been less worrisome than the first, but I have been exhausted (and nauseous). I’m looking forward to getting a little energy back and feeling better as I head into the second trimester.

Eleanor and Me

I’m due February 12 and Eleanor won’t turn two until April 29, so we’ll have two under two for a while. Sounds… challenging! But it also sounds fun.

Congrats! I think the pregnancies get progressively harder the more children you have to chase around. But watching the kiddos play together is worth it :).

I had two boys in 15 months so I know you will be busy but it’s great when they are a little bit older and play together. I am expecting my third (in 4 years – I think we need to whoa this time line) any day now. Wishing you all the best.

My grandma’s first two were 16 months apart & she keeps telling me it was such a blessing that they were so close! My grandpa was off at the war & the two of them entertained each other & helped her get along. Also, I hear practically everything is easier with two.

You look absolutely FABULOUS in your dress. Love it.

Congrats!!! My two oldest were 23 months apart…Not quite as close as your two. And, yes, it’s hard, but it’s very fun and rewarding too! We are due with baby #3 (a girl!) in October, and she and the middle guy will be 28 months apart. I know we’ll have our hands full, but kiddos are so fun and silly and yummy and absolutely adorable! All the best to you and your growing family!

CONGRATULATIONS to your family! I love your blog and can’t wait to see how you handle the bedroom situation of two little ones in a multi-story smallish bungalow. I have a 2 year old daughter and I’m due with my second (a boy!) in December. We live in a 1,300 sq foot bungalow, and are currently debating how we’re going to switch rooms around to make it work (room sharing? keep them separate? upstairs? downstairs? it’s a puzzle!).

Best wishes for a happy and uneventful pregnancy! :)

Oh how exciting! My two are 20 months apart and it is a challenge but they are so close. They could not have more different personalities but really prefer to do everything together. I want a third but hate to do it now since they would be 6 and 8 years older.

P.S. You both look great in that yellow!

Congrats! My daughter and son are also just under 2 years apart. It’s worked wonderfully! She was too young when he was born to be jealous and instead was just infatuated with a living baby doll. Now (at 3.5 and almost 2) they play together better than I could have expected.

We’re waiting another year or so for baby 3, but when we are ready, I’d love for my third and fourth to be just as close as my first two. I like the instant friendship it’s created.
