I’ll be taking a photo of August sitting in the Eames rocker and wearing his pin each month until he’s two years old. I also took monthly photos of his older sister, Eleanor, until she turned two.

Love! He (& his folks!) will treasure having these images when he’s all grown up.
He’s definitely moving into that big boy look. Maybe it’s the haircut, too? Either way, very cute!
I just love this! Such a fun way to see babies grow up!
There’s always that moment when they really look like they’re their own person. To me, this is it.
I loved the photos of his sis, and I love these photos of him too! So special that you’ve been documenting this!
so grown up! and handsome! i love this series that you do!
Love these photos! He is adorable. Great bookcases too.

He is such a big boy now! What a change since last month. It is just crazy how fast they grow.
What a great photo. He is adorable, and becoming such a little boy now. Time flies.
On a slightly unrelated topic. That hive vase, they have similar ones here in Australia and i have one but on the inside they are of a rusted style appearance. I’m sure there is a better way to describe it but is yours like that and you just fill it with water or are your flowers sitting in something within that vase?
The inside is rough, unglazed clay (ceramic?), but I just have the flowers sitting in water right inside of it.
He is just beautiful. Like your Eleanor. :) You really do have the best “month by month”, it’s wonderful. Okay, I also have a question about the Hive vase. I have them as well, but mine are an unfinished ceramic interior. (I’m also from the U.S. and bought them at the store here so I assume ours are the same) so…. are you putting water in them? I’ve just been filling a jar and putting that inside. That works okay, but then they never look “full” like yours is.
Mine is from west elm, and yes, the inside is unfinished. I just use it as is though. No problems, and I’ve used it a lot.
It’s just crazy to see him grow before our eyes – so cute and handsome.
Question? Did you bring that side table in again to replace the nesting tables you refinished?
Yes. We have to move the chair and ottoman out of the way each month to make room for the rocking chair, and now we also have to switch out the side tables. I want the background to remain as constant as I can keep it.
Love his little man haircut!
He’s turning to such a little man! So cute.
And just like that, the baby is a big boy. sigh
It looks like he’s really put on some height recently – those long legs! I’ve really enjoyed watching you create this project about your babies :-).
Gosh, you and Brandon make cute kids!
I love this! We’ve been taking monthly pictures of my 3.5 month old son, Max, in the same ( ours is a knock off) chair. How did you group them together like that?! Super cute!
