(I’ll be taking a photo of Eleanor sitting in the Eames rocker and wearing her pin each month until she’s two years old.)

This month I’m also including a video of Eleanor playing. Nothing terribly exciting happens, but I like to record these little moments to look back on. The dangling monkey was a Christmas gift from Ariana, and Eleanor adores it. Turns out she’s a huge fan of monkeys! My mom gave us the shape sorter a few months ago (I think she picked it up at a garage sale). Eleanor is too young to understand how to put the shapes in correctly, but we take the top off of the box and she enjoys taking out the pieces and chewing on them. Oh the things that amuse babies.

February 1, 2010 at 7:07 am*sigh* if only two thing could be true: that this time in your life would last a little bit longer (believe me–you’ll look back and wonder where the time went) and that thigh rolls would be as cute when you’re 39 as when you’re 1.
