OK. Maybe Eleanor wasn’t that into the Modern Wing of the Art Institute, but I made it up to her by letting her splash around for half an hour in Millennium Park’s Crown Fountain. Now, for purely selfish reasons (I’m San Francisco bound and I’ll be missing her), I’m posting footage of Eleanor having a grand ole time.

September 17, 2010 at 6:24 amI love how she is pulling a Marilyn Monroe when the wind is blowing up her dress. Too cute! AND, I am very jealous that you are going to SF. I just came back from there and wish I had never left!

September 17, 2010 at 6:57 amI must thank you once again for sharing Eleanor with us. Just being able to watch her there, almost seeing her mind racing as she experiences the water – how precious.

September 17, 2010 at 7:30 amToo cute. My kids love that fountain too. Although I’ve never seen it that empty. We have to bring bathing suits now for every trip downtown.

Also love how she was so amazed with the water and kept trying to drink it. Too cute! I can’t wait for my little guy to get to that stage. So amazing!!!

September 17, 2010 at 9:41 amSo cute! Millenium Park is the best. You should take her for ice skating in the Winter once she get’s older.
Ps. Does that outfit come in adult size? (Shoes included).

September 17, 2010 at 9:48 amIt’s so sweet the way she kind of tests the water at all levels–hand wet, feet wet–and then just has fun.

September 17, 2010 at 11:07 amShe’s so sweet! I too am ga-ga over her shoes. Her entire outfit is eye-catching, but what I love about it is that you still notice HER, and aren’t overwhelmed with all the crappe that tends to be all over a lot of children’s clothing. I too love to dress my kiddos cutely, but plainly, so that their own cuteness shines through.
