I know I’m getting big, but when I see myself in photos (or catch my reflection in passing) I realize how absolutely huge I am! I’m 37 weeks pregnant now, and I’m just hoping I don’t go to 42 weeks like I did with Eleanor. I remember how uncomfortable I felt as the due date came and went.
A few people have asked for some maternity and nursing fashion help, so I’m going to put together a little guide and I should have it ready next week. Oh, and here’s a nice side view for you. I love the stripes peeking out!

January 21, 2011 at 3:24 pmYou look great. At least you have something to show for your pregnancy! lol I am 34 weeks and people are constantly talking about how small my belly is for how far along I am, which just means that all that weight I’ve gained has gone everywhere else but the belly, I guess. XD

January 22, 2011 at 4:35 pmMaternity skinny jeans (or jeggings!) and boots are definitely the way to go when you’re pregnant in the winter – I found it was the most easiest way to look stylish while being comfortable when I went 13 days over! You look great, hope he comes along soon!

January 21, 2011 at 3:31 pmYou’re so beautiful. Many prayers and blessings for you and baby in the next few weeks.

PS – I love your haircut.

January 21, 2011 at 9:01 pmOMG, you are so cute.
If it’s any consolation, my first went 41 weeks and my 2nd went 39 weeks. (and this difference in the actual delivery was tremendous — way easier and faster witht he 2nd.)

January 22, 2011 at 3:20 pmAwwww! You’re looking absolutely lovely! I remember first time I saw a pregnant woman after I gave birth to my first kid (yeah, lots of first :D), I cried. Even now, after my fourth and I still want a pregnant belly whenever I see one!
What did they tell you? How big is he? You’re going for a C-section or natural? Just asking, after all, it’s the baby that chooses how to come (and when). But Colleen is right, you know, unless you carry low, your precious bun looks ready to pop! ;) Oh, wait, I just remember you had a C-section for Eleanor! Sticking with that?
Either way, fingers crossed!
Making it Lovely
January 22, 2011 at 10:04 pmNo, I mentioned “complications” (I never went into details, but it was rough), but no C-section with Eleanor. I’m hoping things will go more smoothly this time. The doctor thinks this baby will be big, but he says “you delivered a nine pound baby before, you can do it again!”
rebecca
January 22, 2011 at 3:43 pmyou look so great! are you having a boy? that would be my guess! my mothers way of telling is if its a girl you carry high, boys low. and most the time she is right!

January 22, 2011 at 4:22 pmI’m surprised they let you go to 42 weeks. It seems like they are always in such a hurry to deliver you they don’t let you go that long.
My deliveries were all over the place. But I doubt your second will go that long. Take care!

January 24, 2011 at 8:56 amway cute. Where did you find the necklace? Love it with the green stripes!

January 24, 2011 at 9:01 amDon’t feel bad…I looked EXACTLY the same way you do now when I was preggo with my son. I think the boys just like to lay so that their butts or heads are sticking into our belly buttons. It makes us look so much bigger than we should. My daughter layed sideways most of the time and I didn’t look half as big with her and she was larger than my son.
I totally remember the uncomfortable feeling too. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you don’t go over…:)

January 24, 2011 at 3:04 pmMy first delivery was “rough,” as you say, too (posterior baby, anyone?) but the second one–pardon my frankness–shot out like a cork. :) Best wishes for a similar experience!
