Eleanor’s monthly baby photo shoots are nearly at an end. She’ll turn two next month, and then I’ll be photographing her yearly instead. I used to carry her over to the chair each month for her picture, but lately she’s taken to hopping in on her own. She’s growing up, that little girl!
I take a hundred or so photographs each month, and from those I choose one image to share with you. Eleanor had a great time during our latest session, so I thought I’d give you a little peek into what our photo shoots are like. I created a video out of our still photos, and I’d say it’s just about the cutest thing ever.

There were definitely a few monthly shoots where I (or Brandon) was *just* out of frame, ready to step in! Luckily that phase passed quickly and Eleanor has been happy to stay IN the chair for the most part ever since. :)

I edited the photos in Photoshop (automated a batch, using actions, and it went quickly). Then I assembled the video with iMovie.

So amazingly cute (and I love the haircut)! She is much more agreeable about sitting for pictures then my daughter is. Now that my daughter is 2, whenever I take the camera out and try and take her picture she shakes her hands and me and says “No pictures!”
