O’verlays are paintable, flexible panels for customizing your furniture. They come in sizes that are compatible with several IKEA pieces (Malm, Rast, Expedit, and Effektiv), but you can probably find a size to work with most other non-IKEA items as well.
I’m wondering what would look better around the house with a little customizing…

August 11, 2011 at 1:48 pmHow fun! Where do you get them? At Ikea? I so need to road trip it to my nearest Ikea ASAP
Making it Lovely
August 11, 2011 at 11:03 pmThey aren’t from IKEA, they just happen to be sized correctly for a lot of their pieces. I linked to the source above in the post, but here it is again: http://www.danikacheryle.com/

August 11, 2011 at 1:50 pmI thought they were really cool, and ready to buy it for my teen’s room until I went to the website and looked at the price. $44 to fancy up a table that cost 8? That makes no sense. Cool idea, but no thanks.

August 11, 2011 at 11:10 pmThat’s the most expensive one — most of them are under $20. I think they’re a good option to get a custom look.
